Allan Misner is a health and fitness coach who specializes in helping men and women over 40 improve their strength, stamina, and long-term health so they can stay capable and independent as they age.
He has over a decade of experience coaching adults in midlife and beyond, working with clients who are navigating busy careers, family responsibilities, past injuries, and the natural physical changes that come with age. Coach Allan is known for his practical, no-nonsense approach, helping people focus on what works in practice, not on extreme plans or short-term fixes.
Coach Allan holds multiple nationally recognized certifications that support his work with adults over 40. He is a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer, a Precision Nutrition Level II Master Health Coach, and a Functional Aging Institute Certified Functional Aging Specialist (FAI). In addition, Coach Allan has completed advanced specialty training in Behavior Change, Corrective Exercise, Performance Enhancement, Fitness Nutrition, and Online Training. Together, these credentials reflect a strong foundation in evidence-based coaching, functional movement, sustainable nutrition, and habit development, with a specific focus on helping people adapt their training and lifestyle as they age safely and effectively.
He is the author of The Wellness Roadmap, a guide to building a healthier life through clear priorities and intentional action, and the host of the 40+ Fitness Podcast, one of the longest-running podcasts focused on health and fitness for adults over 40. Through the podcast, Coach Allan has interviewed hundreds of experts and shared evidence-based insights with a global audience seeking to age well and live better.
In addition to one-on-one coaching, Coach Allan leads group programs and workshops designed to help people gain clarity, build momentum, and take ownership of their health. His work is centered on the belief that success comes from clarity, not motivation alone, and that meaningful change starts with honest self-assessment and a realistic next step.
